The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2018. Applicants for this position should have expertise in the areas of biomedical engineering and material science. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to the college’s growing materials science and engineering community and programs.

Candidates should have demonstrated capability for teaching in the chemical engineering curriculum and developing an externally-funded research program, a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a strong record of peer-reviewed publications. Applicants must have a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution (by the start of the appointment).
