Teach undergraduate courses in Chemical Engineering. Organize and supervise laboratory-based courses.
Serve on committees related to undergraduate education. Serve as a liaison for the Department within the University community for matters related to curricula and undergraduate education. Manage the senior check out, scholarship award and advising processes for undergraduates in the Department. Conduct orientation sessions for new undergraduates and provide tours / information for perspective undergraduates.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in chemical engineering or related field and 8-10 years of practical and/or research experience. Experience in the practice of chemical engineering ore closely related field (e.g. chemical manufacturing, reactions, separations, process safety, control systems and design).
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer, 15 years experience. Experience in large scale chemical manufacturing processes.
